Toni Lewis

Toni Lewis is an artist, producer and curator whose practice is rooted in and driven by liberation, pleasure activism and social justice. The creative and cultural projects Toni creates and advocates for thematically revolve around sex and sexual identity, disability and neurodivergence, health and racial justice; seeking to provide transcendant experiences for marginalised communities that are evocative, transgressive, celebratory and accessible. Projects include PUM, a pleasure party and resource for Black Women and Satellite, a roving urban archive.

Toni is co-director of Contemporary Other; a new arts organisation in the West Midlands supported by Paul Hamlyn Foundation working at the intersections of race, care and health, and a founding member of Birmingham’s premier QTIPoC Vogue house, House of Bab.
